Other Paris'... less pleasant... stories...
This episode made think about the importance of being free to eat a yogurt... or rethink my workplace. I am doing 39h of work compressed in 3 days and half. It's really good to have other 3 days and half off, however, my experience proved me that this is too violent for the body. 12h in front of a computer, sometimes more than 6h without eating, and no time to go to the toilet. Therefore, basic needs not fulfilled. I work in a Hotel reception. Starting work at 7am, my first break is at 12h30. For a coffee addicted such as me, it's really hard to wait until this time (when my breakfast was at 5h45). So my colleagues always bring me a coffee (and a hidden pastry) to reception so I can secretly drink/eat (if I'm lucky enough to not be seen on the cameras). I do feel bad about it. But I shouldn't. Because not all workplaces are like this. I did work for 5 years for Hotel which allowed me to have my 15min break in the morning. Where I could someti...
