My first exposition in Paris

It sounds like a really posh title, but I've actually been to an exposition of... graffitis !!! or how they call it now... Urban Art. That's better.

I've made Time Out my best ally to find what's on in Paris. And that's my disgrace too because I don't have time nor money to attend to all of them.

So I've started with the Urban Art Fair 2017 in Carreau du Temple because I thought I could easily convince Sebastien to come with me. And it did work !

3eme Arrondissement - Le Marais

Le Carreau du Temple is a sportif and cultural centre dedicated to the new lifestyles and urban expressions

The aim of the exposition was actually to demystify the graffiti, still considered for many as an act of vandalism. Nowadays, more than paintings on the walls, it is an artistic way of expression. And the quality of the works was hypnotising.

What do you think about this one?

Sebastien has a theory that all the colours mixed together produce the colour brown. And therefore... the word chosen by the artist to perform in the centre. Me, I want to believe there is something more positive. Any guess?!
