Gardening at Grand Palais
I've chosen to go to the Gardens exposition more for the place than the theme. The Grand Palais is a prestigious exhibition centre and a parisien monument itself. What I didn't realise is that this Big Palace is actually... huge! and it holds many art expositions at the same time. So either I could pay more than 50€ and access to the entire building, or I could stick with my Gardens choice for 13€. I took a sensible decision.
So what I found it was a collection of different art expressions: painting, sculpture, photography, drawings, olfactive and sonore environments... and many famous names: Monet, Cezanne, Picasso, Matisse. Artists who dedicated some of their creativity to "gardening" and took us on immersive and poetic voyage.
From de Renascence to the present time, this exhibition offered six centuries around gardens.
Perfect to get some inspiration and say goodbye to spring!
